Mahendra Mahatma, M.D.
Dr. Mahendra Mahatma, M.D. is a board certified gastroenterologist in Irving, Texas with over 40 years of experience. He graduated from the University of Brawijaya, Faculty of Medicine in 1981 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. He went on to complete fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Louisiana State University Medical Center and in Gastroenterology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine (1986), Pulmonology (1988), and Gastroenterology (1991), with extensive experience in esophageal disorders and pancreatic disease. He is affiliated with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Irving and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound. Dr. Mahatma speaks Hindi and Spanish.
